On July 12, 2009, I called Ramona Lacey from the Alumni Book. I thought she might have been related to the Lacey’s from New Milford who attended Hackensack High School. When I spoke to Ramona, she said her family from Hackensack was not related in any way to the Lacey’s from New Milford. The James V. Lacey from Hackensack was her brother, she said, and he was stationed in Germany during the Korean War. Ramona said she had graduated from Hackensack in 1943 and was 83 years old, but she did not mention what year her brother graduated Hackensack High School. Written by: |
